Full green morocco binding, 4to., pp.1, (1), 1, (1), xv, 88, vii, illustrated with 272 plates. The spine divided by five raised and gilt ruled bands into six compartments with the title in the second compartment. Covers gilt lined along the spine and the corners, gilt title on front board. Marbled endpapers and all edges gilt.
A small unobtrusive stain on the spine in the fifth compartment, a stamp of a private collector on first blank and the stamp of another private collector on title page and last index page, both stamps small. The title page a bit foxed, a few other pages with some very light foxing, but overall a very clean copy.
