Bookplate on inner frontboard, traces of a small removed label on inner backboard, stamp of a private collector and a small handwritten number on title page, spine a bit rubbed, some wear to extremities and corners and some light foxing throughout.
This atlas, which is to accompany the three text volumes, not present here, written by M. Rozet, contains 30 magnificent lithographs, mainly depicting views. Some also show arms and utensils, while the last 8 lithographs are costume plates. These 8 costume plates have been finely coloured by hand and show the various inhabitants of Algeria like the Maures, Berbers, Jews, Arabs, etc.
