Full contemporary calf, skilfully rebacked with a flat spine, gilt-ruled in six compartments with a green, gilt title label in the second compartment, 8vo., pp. x, 488. Illustrated with 2 folding maps and four aquatint plates, coloured by hand.
Some scribbling by pencil on the back of the plates, without any damage. A stamp with the text the "King's Inns Library Dublin" on the reverse side of the title page and at the bottom of the last text page. No further library markings. Some offsetting from the maps to the facing pages.
