Vol. II: Delfland. Contemporary calf over paper covered boards, 8vo., pp. xvi, 17 sections of 16 pgs, pp. 4, 4 sections of 16 pgs, pp. 4. The binding quite worn, the contents good. Small stamp of a private collector on first free end leaf and title page. Armor shields on title page and on two vignettes amateurishly coloured by hand. Engraved title page, a map which has been coloured in outline, 22 oval engravings and 1 full page engraving.

Originally it was the intention to cover the whole of the Republic of the United Netherlands, however the last part (vol. 8) was published in 1801 and then only Holland (the combined provinces of North- and South Holland) for the greater part had been covered by this work.
